Junior Achievement empowers young people
to own their future economic success.

Financial Literacy, Work Readiness, Entrepreneurship...
JA programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace.  Students put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities.

JA Volunteers inspire students
JA's unique approach allows volunteers from the community to deliver our curriculum while sharing their experiences with students. Embodying the heart of JA, our 1,800 classroom volunteers transform the key concepts of our lessons into a message that inspires and empowers students to believe in themselves, showing them that they can make a difference in the world.

Why Junior Achievement in the Classroom?
Junior Achievement's unique delivery system provides the training, materials, and support necessary to bolster the chances for student success. We help arrange for business people and local community leaders to visit classrooms a few times or throughout the semester. They volunteer to share their workforce experience with students, all while teaching sound economic principles and reinforcing class curricula.

JA

What are the benefits of JA for students?
J
unior Achievement programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. JA Graduation Pathways
As a complement to its focus on helping all students understand the importance of staying in school, Junior Achievement is helping to positively impact one of the biggest economic and social issues facing our countrythe high school graduation rate.

JA - A solution to the Workforce Skills Gap

The workforce skills gap has a significant impact on our nation's productivity, economy, and global competitiveness. Junior Achievement is addressing it, by teaching students how to apply the knowledge they learn in the classroom to real-world problems and equipping them with the skills they need to be college- and career-ready.
